Beverly Hills, CA
Actor, with a long string of hits and a volatile personal life
5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 6,625 square feet, pool, gated
Amid a nasty (and we mean NASTY) custody battle, TMZ is reporting that Charlie Sheen is trying to quickly sell the Beverly Hills mansion he bought as a primary residence for his ex-wife Brooke Mueller and their twin boys, Bob and Max.
Located just around the corner from his mansion in the gated, upscale neighborhood of Mulholland Estates, Brooke’s 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom, 6,625 square foot home was purchased by Sheen on October 23, 2012 from billionaire Tom Gores for $4,800,000. According to TMZ’s report, Sheen wants to sell the home quickly and for exactly what he paid for it, because terms of his divorce from Mueller specify that any profit made on the residence must be split evenly. So if he sells for zero profit, he owes her nothing.
Isn’t love grand?
The home is a total stunner, especially at that $4.8M price point – it’s Spanish-style villa on expansive, private grounds. The home centers around a formal living room that then opens to a library/den, dining room, theater, gourmet kitchen and family room. Brooke’s master suite has a separate sitting room, dual fireplaces and multiple walk-in closets. Outside, the spacious backyard has a large pool/spa and built-in bbq.
When everything was amicable between Charlie and Brooke, this home was the perfect spot for her and the boys to live – because Dad was just around the corner. Charlie actually owns two more mansions in Mulholland Estates – a 6 bed, 9 bath home he paid $6,999,999 for on March 31, 2011 and a 5 bed, 7 bath estate he picked up on April 28, 2006 for $7,200,000.
While Charlie’s not with his real estate agent, it’s likely he’s with his lawyer. He and Brooke’s heated custody battle rages on.

Pacific Palisades, CA
Edgy Grammy-winning pop star
11,000 square feet, 7 bedrooms, 9 baths, pool
$65,000 a month
After moving out of her mansion due to stalkers and burglars, Rihanna’s former Pacific Palisades home is back on the market as a rental with a $65,000 a month price tag!
The Barbados-born beauty moved into the $12 million dollar home in December 2012, and her Southern California paradise quickly became a nightmare. After just a few short months in the home, trespassers, stalkers and attempted burglars have all been arrested at or near the property, prompting RiRi to flee the urban oasis for her own safety. In the most extreme case, a 27-year-old man was arrested on the property after showing up multiple times, claiming to be her “future husband.”
The globetrottering Grammy winner has since had ‘her people’ move her belonging out of the home and into another undisclosed location, freeing up her former home for new residents. Reports say she’s decamped to a penthouse in New York City. She also reportedly purchased a $22 million villa in her native Barbados earlier this year.
Built in 2010, the estate is nestled in the Los Angeles hills and features a neutral-to-warm color scheme throughout, with sandy walls and dark wood and tile flooring from head to toe. The home exudes a strong modern-Caribbean influence, offering simple architecture and sleek finishes, with a slight twist. Reminiscent of a tropical villa, almost every room comes complete with walls opening to the backyard allowing for plenty of natural light and easy access to the pool and spa. A super-modern kitchen offers 14-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances, and a full bar. In addition to the pool and spa, the outdoor entertaining area offers a 6,000-square-foot garden area with outdoor BBQ, bar, and sundeck.
According to the listing, the current rate is a temporary reduction from the initial $100,000 a-month asking price.

Montgomery played FBI agent Samantha Spade on the CBS drama Without a Trace from 2002 to 2009 and currently stars in the police drama Unforgettable
Actress Poppy Montgomery has just dropped $3.6 million on a brand new home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles!
The purchase comes on the heels of a $250,000 loss on the sale of her former home in Pacific Palisades, which she sold on April 16, 2013 for $2,881,500. She originally paid $3,133,530 for the home in January 2005.
Montgomery lost some real money on the sale of her former home before she swooped up a new, even more expensive home, but it’s not likely that she’s hurting for funds. The Australian-born actress is best known for playing FBI agent Samantha Spade on the CBS drama Without a Trace from 2002 to 2009 and for her latest role as Det. Carrie Wells on the CBS police drama Unforgettable.
Montgomery gave birth to a baby girl named Violet in April 2013, just days after she sold her Pacific Palisades home.
With a new baby joining her family, Montgomery has put the loss behind her and has moved on to a stunning 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, 3,089 square foot Spanish-style hacienda with mesmerizing views of the private vineyard and hills beyond.
Inside, a dramatic and glamorously chic great room with vaulted beamed ceilings and a large fireplace is the heart of the home. The adjacent kitchen has state-of-the-art appliances and a large center island. Down the hall, two bedrooms and a library and an office complete the main floor. Upstairs, the private master has a fireplace, tree top views and a spa-like bath.
Outside, the home has partially-covered verandas, a lap pool and terraced lawns.
Property records show the deal was finalized on October 31, 2013. Mary Lu Tuthill of Coldwell Banker-Brentwood represented the sellers and Clifford Rowe of Teles Properties, Inc was Montgomery’s agent.

Reality TV stars, she's a famous Kardashian and he's a former NBA star
7 bedrooms, 9 bedrooms, 8,347 square feet, pool, gated
After a year of turmoil and scandal, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are reportedly selling their sprawling Tarzana home.
According to TMZ, the home has secretly been listed for sale for $3,995,000. Interested? Well, the home isn’t open to just anyone – it’s only being shown to qualified buyers who can show that they can actually afford to pay the asking price.
Khloe and Lamar moved into the home shortly after marrying in a quickie wedding ceremony in 2009. They’ve filmed “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and their spin-off “Khloe & Lamar” in the home. In light of recent news reports that Lamar has been battling drug addiction and that Khloe intends to eventually divorce him, it makes sense that the home is up for sale. With less combined assets, the easier it will be for the duo to split. While we’re rooting for Lamar to turn his life around and for the seemingly in-love duo to make it work, selling the family home is usually a strong indicator that things are trending towards divorce.
If you have the cash money to buy the house, you’ll be buying a guard-gated Mulholland Park custom built 7-bedroom home located at the end of a private enclave cul-de-sac. Huge grassy lawns and a dramatic entry courtyard make a great first impression as you pull up to the home. Inside, a dramatic entryway leads to luxe living spaces, 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, stone floors, a theater.
Outside, Khloe and Lamar’s Tarzana home has an outdoor kitchen with 2 refrigerators, a bbq bit, covered cabanas and a pool and spa.

Conservative political commentator and owner of "Drudge Report"
3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2,606 square feet, waterfront
The 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, 2,609 square foot estate off the Venetian Causeway was on the market for a short 11 day window before it went under contract with Colleran.
Drudge paid $1.4 million for the three-story home in 2003. Aside from this home, he owns additional property in South Florida, including two homes in the Redland area of Miami. In 2011, he bought a large property for $1.45 million, and in February 2013, he paid $700,000 in cash for his next door neighbor’s smaller property in order to combine the parcels and make one large compound.
Prior to those purchases, Drudge lived in a condominium at the Four Seasons in Downtown Miami, where supermodel and “Real Housewives of Miami” start Joanna Krupa recently bought a condo for $1.37 million.

Tesla CEO, also at the helm of SpaceX; previously made a fortune on PayPal
3 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 2,756 square feet, pool and private guest cottage, views
Musk, who has amassed billions via Tesla, SpaceX and PayPal, currently lives across the street in a home he purchased on January 1, 2013 for $17,000,000. His current home has 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms and has 20,248 square feet of interior living space and incredible outdoor spaces.
According to property records, his brand new purchase, just a few hundred feet away, was purchased on October 24, 2013 for $6,750,000. The ranch-style home is substantially smaller than his existing abode, with just 3 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and 2,756 square feet, with an oval pool and private guest cottage. The home was the longtime residence of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” actor Gene Wilder, who lived there from 1976-2007.
What it lacks in size, Musk’s new property makes up for in opportunity. The home is the perfect location to develop a dream property. It sits on a one acre promontory overlooking a beautiful stream, mature trees and the white sand traps of the 13th green and 14th fairway of the prestigious Bel-Air Country Club Golf Course. The lot is elevated, allowing for distant city views.
Musk currently lives in an incredible estate that he previously rented for three years before he officially purchased it January 2013. It’s likely he’ll either capitalize on the opportunity presented by the new home and build an even more over-the-top mansion, or he’ll raze the existing home and create even better views and privacy for his current home.
He’s not the first billionaire to buy their neighbor’s homes. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer both recently paid millions of dollars for adjacent and nearby properties to ensure privacy.
With a net worth of $6.7 billion, Musk has the purchasing power to gobble up all the pricey estates for miles and miles.
Musk has made headlines recently when he unveiled plans for the Hyperloop, a rapid-speed train that claims to be able to transport passengers from San Francisco to Los Angeles in 30 minutes.
