International real estate mogul Christian Candy is selling the penthouse at the famed Plaza hotel for $59 million. The Monaco-based Christian bought the penthouse for $25.9 million last year, and after some massive upgrades, he flipped the one-of-a-kind property back on the market with a $59 million price tag.

This isn’t a one-off deal for Christian. He and his brother Nick Candy are real estate developers known for creating high-design luxury residences, including the ultra-exclusive One Hyde Park in London.

The Plaza triplex penthouse features approximately 6,319 square feet of interior of living space and 229 square feet of exterior living space spread over the 19th, 20th and 21st floors. The 19th floor features an elevator that services all 3 floors, 3 bedroom suites and a laundry room. The 20th floor features a grand living room, 14-seat dining room and a gourmet kitchen that boasts 21 foot ceilings and a skylight. The 21st floor features the sumptuous master suite with private terrace.

According to the Wall Street Journal, if the penthouse sells at its asking price, it would set a record for the century-old building, which converted to condominiums in 2007. The highest purchase to date in the Plaza is $6,316 per square foot, or $48 million, paid for two adjacent condos by Igor Krutoy, a Russian composer and music producer, in 2011.

Robert Huizenga, M.D., or better known to world as Dr. H on the television show The Biggest Loser, has just listed a stunning home in the Bird Streets of the Hollywood Hills that he’s trying to flip for $2,990,000!  Property records show he paid $1,875,000 for the home on May 1, 2012. Before he beamed into our living rooms on The Biggest Loser, or became a house flipper, Dr. H was the team physician for the Los Angeles Raiders and a best-selling author. His first book was adapted by Oliver Stone for the film Any Given Sunday.

A man with that kind of resume is bound to have some serious real estate – but who knew he also had time to flip houses! He’s selling this remodeled gem for a million dollars more than what he paid for the home just over a year ago. And, as it turns out, this is Dr. H’s second home to come on the market in Los Angeles. He also has an additional high-priced trophy estate in Los Feliz that he’s been trying to sell for years. It’s currently listed for $4,599,000.

This newly listed, flip home is a European contemporary located high in the hills of the coveted “birds streets” of the Sunset Strip. From the Hollywood Hills location, the home boasts breathtaking city and ocean views. Glee starlet Naya Rivera is flipping her home in Beverly Hills, asking $2.1 million for a home she paid $1.475 million for on April 4, 2012. If she gets her full asking price, Naya is set to make $625,000 for less than a year’s ownership, minus what she paid to remodel this stunner. This kind of return isn’t common in every market, but in this celebrity-infested Beverly Hills neighborhood, buyers will pay big bucks for the 90210 zip code.

Rivera is making her house flip a family affair – she’s employed her mother Yolanda Rivera as the listing agent on the home, which hit the market in mid-March and already has “sale pending” sign hanging out front. Nice work, mom!

Rivera’s almost-sold home is on a cul de sac and has been remodeled. It features 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and is a spacious 3,300 square feet.  The home includes a formal living area and dining room overlooking the courtyard and pool. The library includes a wet bar with its own kegerator! The master suite includes dual walk-in closets and a built-in sauna and steam room. The backyard includes a completely remodeled salt water pool, jacuzzi and fire pit.

Rivera is decamping to a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 4,186 square foot East Coast traditional estate in Los Feliz that property records show she purchased on April 15, 2013 for $2,600,000.

With three properties already on the market, Kelsey Grammer is throwing a fourth into the mix by officially listing the home he recently purchased for new wife Kayte. In April 2012, Kelsey and his fourth wife purchased this six-bedroom Beverly Hills mansion for $6,500,000. It recently went up for rent for $30k a month, and now, it’s officially for sale for  $7,250,000!

Here’s the backstory: Kelsey originally bought the estate for new wife Kayte and their baby Faith as a home base when they relocated from New York City permanently in 2012. Shortly after the move to the West Coast, Kelsey’s show “Boss” got canceled, leaving him to re-evaluate his finances. Rather than stay in the new home, Kelsey decided to move the family into the OTHER house he owns in Beverly Hills that’s currently on the market for $16 million. Ex-wife Camille is pissed about the move, because she’s legally a co-owner and has been paying her half of the carrying costs on the home, which clock in around $40,000 a month. With Kelsey’s new family living in the house, it’s going to be even harder to offload, costing Camille even more money–she even went as far as requesting an injunction from a judge to bar the move! The motion was denied, and Kelsey’s now back in the higher-priced home, new family in tow.

It seems like the war between these two former spouses will never end.

Kelsey himself admitted that he has to move back into the higher-priced home he previously shared with Camille because, without income from his TV show, he’s strapped for cash and can’t afford to carry two Beverly Hills mortgages. Hopefully this latest home to hit the market will sell for a profit, and he’ll be back in the money again.

Grammer has other homes for sale in Malibu, Beaver Creek, and Beverly Hills–all three of which he owned with his ex-wife Camille–that must be sold as a part of the pair’s divorce settlement agreement. The faster they’re scooped up, the sooner these two new lovebirds can officially move on with their lives.
