Beloved TV mom Patricia Heaton has just bought a stunning new estate in Toluca Lakes, CA for $5.4 million. While she’s busy moving into the her new digs, she’s also awaiting the official close of the sale of her Hancock Park estate, which was listed for $8,295,000 and is currently in escrow for an unknown price.

Heaton’s stunning new home was purchased on March 7, 2013, according to public records. The  5 bed, 7 bath, 7,649 square foot home has a gourmet kitchen, den, library, office and an elevator to get between the two expansive floors. The gorgeous outdoor grounds feature a pool, spa and pool house!

Heaton is decamping from her bigger and more expensive Los Angeles- area, Elmer Gray-designed pad, which she bought on October 18, 2001 for $4,850,000. That house is about to change hands to a new owner and comes complete with 6 bedroom, 6 bathrooms and 8,398 square feet. She’s sure to make a profit on this one, which is a nice change from ANOTHER real estate transaction she closed on late last year. In October 2012, Heaton got only $865,000 for a 2-bed, 2-bath condo she purchased on March 16, 2007 for $1,145,000.

Despite her loss, Heaton’s still coming out on top and has a stunning new Toluca Lakes mansion to prove it.

In Hollywood, the ever-changing personal lives of celebs is one of the biggest drivers in the real estate market. Marriages, babies and divorces keep the for-sale signs popping up around town. The latest change comes in the form of a divorce between Emmy-winning actress Patricia Arquette and her ex-husband, Thomas Jane.

First reported by The Real Estalker, Arquette and Jane sold their Hancock Park home for $2,775,000 on January 4, 2012. Coming in at 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and 6,082 square feet, the dramatic Renaissance Revival estate was originally listed for $3,399,000. While they didn’t get full asking, they came out ahead. While still in the midst of marital bliss, the former couple purchased the home on January 10, 2003 for $2,250,000.

Called “Villa Catalunya,” the home features a dramatic entryway adorned with tiles, hand-painted ceilings, an enormous cooks kitchen with inlaid limestone floors and updated features throughout. The gated estate also has a pool and a motor court.

The “Friends” crew sure has a collective sense of real estate unrest lately, and we can now add David Schwimmer to the list. He joins his former castmates in the real estate shuffle. His pal Matthew Perry put three Los Angeles homes on the market and Jennifer Aniston sold in Beverly Hills and is currently the talk of the New York real estate rumor mill.

A secret wedding in the summer of 2010, followed by the recent birth of his first baby. All this life change means only one thing to celebs – time to get a new house. Gated and private, the stunning Mediterranean-style home sits on a 44,540 square foot lot.
