Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian just got an amazing deal on their new home in Hidden Hills, CA. The duo purchased the (ultra luxurious) ‘distressed property” as a short sale, paying only $3,000,000 for the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom, 8,642 square foot home. That’s quite the steal – no cheating needed to get this deal done, as the previous owners fell behind on payments, allowing Leann and Eddie to swoop in an pay close to half of the home’s value. It was last sold in 2006 for $5,575,000 and currently has an estimated value of about $4.7 million!
The Spanish-style home sits on a large lot with an outdoor dining area and pool and plenty of space for Eddie’s two young sons to run around. Inside, the home features a large kitchen with center island, dining room and six spacious bedrooms. Leann and Eddie’s brand new master bedroom comes complete with patio and outdoor sitting area.
Leann and Eddie became instant tabloid fodder when they first emerged as a couple, since both were married at the time – and not to each other. A scandalous public affair ensued. Fast forward a few years, and the duo seem to still be happily married. But it’s not all rosey in their world. Leann is embroiled in a bitter feud with Eddie’s ex-wife Brandi Glanville, who appears on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Brandi and Leann are mortal enemies and can’t resist the urge to duke it out in the media on a weekly basis.
Perhaps this new home will be Leann and Eddie’s much-needed sanctuary away from the drama of their day-to-day lives.

Forget fancy heels and designer clothes: mom-to-be Jessica Simpson has put her passion for fashion aside and is all about baby number two. So much so that she’s completely ditching Sharon Osbourne’s exquisite master bedroom closet and converting it into a nursery! According to UsWeekly, Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson are in escrow to buy The Talk co-host’s 11,000-square-foot mansion for $13 million and have already met with designers to transform the Osbourne’s former walk-in closet into a baby room.
The Price of Darkness and Sharon had been wrestling with selling the Hidden Hills home since July 2011 — at one point, the estate was even listed for rent for $50k a month. The Osbournes purchased the six-bedroom, 10-bath home in the equestrian community of Hidden Hills on August 3, 2007, for $12,388,500 and have settled on parting with the estate for just a smidge more than the purchase price at $13 million.
Located within the exclusive guard-gated community of Hidden Hills, Simpson’s soon-to-be home is situated on a private knoll and is a sophisticated Cape Cod-inspired estate located atop an intimate cul-de-sac. Featured in “Architectural Digest” in 2011, the grand residence rests on a 2.25 acre promontory with breathtaking city light and mountain views.
Reimagined by legendary interior designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard, the magnificent home features the main home’s six bedrooms, as well as a guest apartment with kitchenette, intricately paneled study with fireplace, porte-cochere with motor court, exquisitely accented formal dining room, dramatic foyer with spiral staircase, floor-to-ceiling windows, and an expansive lower level studio/home theater space.
The family room is highlighted by oversized sliding barn doors, a reclaimed brick fireplace and beamed vaulted ceilings. The master suite offers a sitting area, stone fireplace, wood paneled walk-in closet, and an adjacent office. Expansive rear grounds include rolling lawns, a spa, barbeque island, outdoor shower, commode, and several seating enclaves.

Rock & Roll legend Ozzy Osbourne could be your new landlord! The Prince of Darkness and his firecracker wife Sharon are shifting real estate gears and offering up their stunning Hidden Hills home as a $50,000-a-month lease after trying to unsuccessfully sell the home since July 2011. While it’s still listed for sale at $12,999,000, the home just hit the high-end rental market today. The Osbournes purchased the home in the equestrian community of Hidden Hills on August 3, 2007 for $12,388,500. It clocks in at 10,953 square feet and features 6 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
You may not be able to understand a word Ozzy says, but you can probably glean that he and Sharon have a penchant for pricey properties. While they filmed their eponymous MTV reality show, “The Osbournes,” Sharon, Ozzy, Kelly and Jack Osbourne lived in this Beverly Hills mansion – currently owned by none other than songstress Christina Aguilera. Perhaps being “The Price of Darkness” comes with a real estate curse, because Aguilera can’t sell this ‘Osbournes’ pad either. It’s been languishing on the market since March 2011 with a $13.5M price tag.
Should you want to temporarily live like an Osbourne, let’s examine what you’ll get for $50,000 clams a month: Located within the exclusive guard-gated community of Hidden Hills, the Osbourne family home is situated on a private knoll and is a sophisticated Cape Cod-inspired estate located atop an intimate cul-de-sac. Recently featured in “Architectural Digest”, the Osbournes’ grand residence rests on 2.25 acre promontory with breathtaking city light and mountain views. Re-imagined by legendary interior designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard, the magnificent home features the 6 bedrooms, as well as a guest apartment with kitchenette, intricately paneled study with fireplace, porte-cochere with motor court, exquisitely accented formal dining room, dramatic foyer with spiral staircase, floor-to-ceiling windows and an expansive lower level studio/home theater space.
For those of you who tuned in to ‘The Osbournes,” you’ll remember most of the action took place in the kitchen. In this home, it’s no different. A brilliant state-of-the art chef’s kitchen features Wolf appliances, a center-island and cozy breakfast nook.
The family room is highlighted by oversized sliding barn doors, a reclaimed brick fireplace and beamed vaulted ceilings. The master suite offers a sitting area, stone fireplace, wood paneled walk-in closet and an adjacent office. Expansive rear grounds include rolling lawns, a spa, barbeque island, outdoor shower, commode and several seating enclaves.
We’re not sure where the Osbourne’s will decamp to, as they sold their $7.9M Malibu home in April of this year, but no doubt they’ll move on to another fabulous estate to get some R&R after a particularly challenging year.

Drake, the multi-platinum rapper, has just purchased the massive Hidden Hills compound he has been renting for the past few months. The home is no stranger to the real estate market – it hit the market in January 2009 with an eye-popping $27M asking price - that’s $3,627 per square foot. With no one willing to pay way-above-market-value for the suped-up estate, the price was chopped all the way down to $9.95M in November of 2009. 3 years and $2.25M more in price reductions, Drake has purchased the palatial pad for the bargain basement price of $7.7M, according to public records.
Marketed at “the ultimate Hidden Hills compound estate” and a “world class private resort,” the estate features 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms and clocks in at 7,444 square feet. Larry Pollack, the owner of the famous Saddle Ranch Chop Houses, purchased the estate for “land value only” in 2003, and spent 4 years rebuilding and constructing this one-of-a-kind masterpiece. No expense was spared on interior appointments and all new exterior grounds. A multi-million dollar pool boasts cascading waterfalls, 80′ water slide, a grotto and more. Other exterior features include a tennis court, 5 stall horse facilities with riding area, a sand volleyball court, commercial bathrooms, mechanical bull, viewing pavilions and more. The interior features include 24-seat theater, game room, spa/massage room, master suite with his/hers bathrooms, and a spectacular wine cellar/tasting room.
Enjoy the new digs, Drake!

Billy Blanks has turned Tae Bo into some serious real estate dough! Just last week, the buff fitness mogul signed the papers to sell his Hidden Hills, CA estate to an unknown buyer for $7,300,000. Blanks and his now ex-wife purchased the lot of land on January 31, 2000 for $1,400,000, and eventually constructed a massive estate that was completed sometime in 2001. Blanks first tried to sell the home for $11,500,000 in October 2008. Three years and a four million dollar price chop later, Blanks is finally bidding adieu to the mansion.
Blanks’ just-sold home is a spectacular, one-of-a-kind Mediterranean in the “Ashley Ridge” section of Hidden Hills. Clocking in at over 16,000 square feet, the home has 6 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. Mega-luxury features include an indoor ballroom/basketball court (talk about a multi-use room!), a stellar home theater with stadium seating, game room, study and piano room.
The master bedroom comes with a luxurious stone bath with spa tub and steam shower, view balcony and private stairs to the pool and grotto below. The ground feature a large cabana with outdoor kitchen, adjoining waterfalls, fountains, lush landscaping designed for privacy and sweeping, pastoral views.
Additional amenities include a two-room guest suite with private entrance, high ceilings, slab stone countertops and impressive stone floors, a double-iron staircase, numerous skylights, an elevator, custom window treatments throughout, and a huge sliding wall of glass that opens to let the outdoors in.
The garage houses 6 cars and the large, two-acre lot leaves room for the new owners to potentially put in a sports court or keep horse below the main residence.
