Kate Walsh, the gorgeous, fiery redheaded actress best known for playing Dr. Addison Montgomery on Grey’s Anatomy and the spinoff Private Practice, has relisted her glamorous and very “Private” Los Feliz mansion for $4,750,000. She originally tried to sell the home for $3,995,000 in October 2011, but never found a buyer to take the home off her hands for almost a million less than the $4,750,000 she paid for it in June 2007. Lucky her, since she now has it back on market for exactly what she paid for the estate, which means she’s much less likely to take a massive loss on the stunning Spanish-style Los Feliz property.
Walsh’s residence features a large kitchen and family room that opens through French doors to beautiful garden with a spa, swimming pool and outdoor entertaining spaces. The main house is almost 6,000 square feet and has 4 bedrooms upstairs, each with en suite baths. In true Hollywood fashion, one bedroom is now a to-die-for walk-in closet. The gracious master suite has a fireplace, as does the den and the grand scale living room. The estate offers complete privacy and a circular drive way. A large 3-room guesthouse consists of 2 offices, a Pilates studio/gym and an updated bath.

Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley are shutting the door on their family home in Los Feliz. The duo purchased the four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom Southern Colonial home on September 21, 2007 for $2,550,000, just three months before their beautiful Christmastime wedding in Deer Valley, Utah.
Listed in November 2012, the actress and musician just sold their home on March 1, 2013 for $2,622,000, according to property records. Now parents to two adopted daughters, the famous pair are likely seeking more security and space in their next home. There was also that incident in 2010 with a nasty neighbor who had an issue with their loud hot tub that may have driven the family to seek shelter elsewhere.
Katherine and Josh’s just-sold home is warm and elegant, with stunning hardwood floors throughout. The home has really special details, like vaulted ceilings, arched doorways and recessed lighting. It’s perfect for a family, but still possesses celebrity-worthy details, like a gourmet cooks kitchen with center island and the absolute best appliances. It’s also ideal for outdoor living, with a lanai, verandas, an outdoor fireplace and well-manicured gardens.

4 bedroom, 6 bathrooms, 7,450 square feet
The historic, one-of-a-kind W.C. Fields estate is back on the market with a bump in its asking price! Last listed for $11 million in 2009, the estate made its return to the market in September 2012 with an asking price of $7.195 million. With no takers, it came off the market but returned this week with $300k tacked onto the asking price! Perhaps the current owners are hoping someone gets into the holiday spirit and buys the estate.
According to the Curbed archives, the home was owned by studio executive Dennis Rice and was last sold in 2004 for $4.437 million. It also once belonged to Lily Tomlin, who famously painted it pink, inside and out.
Completely private and secure, the home is nestled in the exclusive Laughlin Park gated community on nearly an acre. It sits on De Mille street, named for the famed director Cecil B. De Mille, who once lived in a massive estate just up the street.
While the home is a historic gem, it has been completely restored to it’s original glory and has all the luxuries of today’s technology. While the current interior decor may cause some people to immediately scream “makeover!,” the elegant home is perfect for formal entertaining, as well as informal family living. Scalloped ceilings, original woodwork, and a copper sun room make this home a very special property that rarely comes on the market.

Kennedy has just listed his 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, 2,400 square foot home for $1,900,000. Public records show that he purchased the super slick Los Feliz-neighborhood home on July 9, 2007 for $2,150,000.
Kennedy’s for-sale home is private and gated, and according to the listing, it has been “re-imagined & updated for today’s lifestyle” – which basically means it has been meticulously remodeled.
Behind the gates and glassy exterior, the house flows seamlessly with all rooms in perfect proportion. The public rooms and master bedroom feature walls of glass and pocket doors that disappear, effectively blurring the lines between indoors and out. Once outside, a hip, hotel style entertaining space with built-in bar and dining area, hot tub, pool and cabana with bathroom and shower allow for incredible entertaining all year long.

This house affords chic hotel-style living in the sought-after neighborhood of Los Feliz, minutes from Griffith Park, prized shopping and hip restaurants.
Jon Bronson of the Westside Estate Agency is the listing agent.

Kate Walsh is hopping on the celebrity real estate merry-go-round, listing her Los Feliz-area home for $3,995,000. The ride for Walsh has been an expensive one, and she’s likely to lose just under a million dollars – if she can get close to asking price for her 1928 Spanish mansion. Walsh paid $4,750,000 for the 5,940 square foot house in June of 2007, right before she embarked on her 15-month marriage to entertainment industry exec Alex Young.
While Walsh’s marriage didn’t last, hopefully she’ll have better luck in the real estate game. The listing on her for-sale home says it’s ”the perfect marriage of classic old world charm and stunning modern updates.” The residence features a large kitchen and family room that opens through French doors to beautiful garden with a spa, swimming pool and outdoor entertaining spaces. The main house is almost 6,000 square feet and has 4 bedrooms upstairs, each with en suite baths. In true Hollywood fashion, one bedroom is now a to-die-for walk-in closet.
