Sometimes 2 isn’t better than 1. After more than 2 full years on the market, Christina Aguilera has finally sold the Beverly Hills mansion she purchased from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. Originally listed for $13.5 million, Aguliera never officially reduced the asking price on the home, but according to property records, she eventually ended up selling for $11.5 million – a full $2 million less than the diva wanted for her palace. The deal closed on April 29, 2013, and the buyer’s identity is still unknown.
Aguilera has since moved on to another Beverly Hills mansion in the exclusive guard-gated Mulholland Estates community. Her new 11,000-square-foot estate was reportedly purchased from multi-billionaire and global private equity mogul Tom Gores for an even $10 million.
Her just-sold home was the stage for Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s reality show “The Osbournes” many years ago and is in the heart of Beverly Hills on Doheny Drive. The estate is gated and extremely private and has 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms spread out over 10,000 square feet.

Christina Aguilera has purchased another Beverly Hills mansion in the exclusive guard-gated Mulholland Estates community. According to TMZ, who broke the news yesterday, the 11,000-square-foot estate was reportedly purchased from multi-billionaire and global private equity mogul Tom Gores for an even $10 million. Previously, the home was leased for $20,000 a month by Adrienne Maloof of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Located on a double lot in the Mulholland Estates community, this six-bedroom, eight-bathroom Mediterranean mansion features custom, high-quality finishes and fixtures throughout. The master suite upstairs features a fireplace, two walk-in closets, a private office, a large terrace with fireplace, and a spa-like bathroom lined in marble with a steam shower and tub. Five additional en suites include a large family room with built-in cabinetry.
The first floor of the home offers an even larger family room with exposed wood beam ceiling, formal dining room, wood paneled library, and screening room. The gourmet kitchen includes top-of-the-line appliances, a walk-in pantry with refrigerator and breakfast area, and a large center island. The enclosed loggia features wood paneled ceilings, hand painted details, fireplace, and arched glass doors that open to the lush yard. To take in the warm California sun and entertain, the home’s outdoor space includes a saltwater pool and spa, bathhouse, gazebo, and built-in BBQ.
But what of X’tina’s current home (you know, the 10,000-square-foot estate that she and former hubby Jordon Bratman bought from the Prince of Darkness and his wife AKA Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne)? A little birdie told Yo Mama of The Real Estalker that the home is currently in escrow.

Katy Perry is selling her “California Girl” estate for $6,925,000. Purchased by the songstress on June 24, 2011 for $6,500,000, Perry intended to make the 3-acre estate compound near the famed Chateau Marmont her and then-husband Russell Brand‘s marital love nest. Amid rumors of an impending divorce and before the moving vans could even get in the front gates, the duo split for good – and the home remained vacant. Perry was reportedly secretly hoping to find a buyer for her unlucky love nest without having to officially list the home for sale. Perhaps she was asking too much money or people just didn’t want the bad juju associated with the home, but Perry couldn’t find her buyer.
Now, the home, dubbed “Park Hill,” is officially for sale, as first reported by The Real Estalker. Built in 1921, the estate is comprised of a significant Mediterranean residence with two-story grand entry that continues into two-story living room overlooking all of Los Angeles and the city’s dramatic skyline.
Additionally, the property has a separate two-story guest house that was formerly a caretaker’s apartment on the lower level and a Carriage House on the second level for auto storage. In 2004, another guest house was built and could be used as a private residence, as it comes complete with a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.
The lushly landscaped backyard has a lagoon-style pool with waterfall and small bridges. Adding to the allure of this property, the home neighbors Frank Lloyd Wright’s famed Storer House.

Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley are shutting the door on their family home in Los Feliz. The duo purchased the four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom Southern Colonial home on September 21, 2007 for $2,550,000, just three months before their beautiful Christmastime wedding in Deer Valley, Utah.
Listed in November 2012, the actress and musician just sold their home on March 1, 2013 for $2,622,000, according to property records. Now parents to two adopted daughters, the famous pair are likely seeking more security and space in their next home. There was also that incident in 2010 with a nasty neighbor who had an issue with their loud hot tub that may have driven the family to seek shelter elsewhere.
Katherine and Josh’s just-sold home is warm and elegant, with stunning hardwood floors throughout. The home has really special details, like vaulted ceilings, arched doorways and recessed lighting. It’s perfect for a family, but still possesses celebrity-worthy details, like a gourmet cooks kitchen with center island and the absolute best appliances. It’s also ideal for outdoor living, with a lanai, verandas, an outdoor fireplace and well-manicured gardens.

Incredible musician and frontman for the mega popular "Dave Matthews Band"
Home Stats
6 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, 7,000 square feet
Dave Matthews, the musician who has seen off-the-charts success as frontman of “The Dave Matthews Band,” has just put some of that music money to work — the singer just paid $6,575,000 for a six-bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom estate in Malibu, according to The Real Estalker. That’s mere pocket change for a guy whose band is one the highest grossing groups of all time. During the period from 2000 to 2010, the Dave Matthews Band sold more tickets and earned more money than any other act in North America. Even more than ‘N Sync, Britney Spears, and the rest of the red-hot pop stars of that time.
Since Matthews has made big money in the music biz, he’s investing in real estate. This most recent purchase is a ‘European Country Estate’ in a prime Malibu location. Situated on 1.78 acres of rare flat land in the sought after Point Dume area, the newly renovated home clocks in at approximately 7,000 square feet. The property also features a pool, spa, and Riviera III beach rights down to Little Dume Beach. Additionally, the estate comes with active plans and permits with the City of Malibu for a 900-square-foot guest house — a recording studio, perhaps? Extensive gardens and an apple orchard round out the large parcel’s lush grounds, which also offer plenty of space for a tennis court and/or horses.
Matthews also owns a modest home in Seattle, Washington, and 11 homes in and around Charlottesville, Virginia.

4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3,394 square feet.
Country star Brad Paisley and his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, have just listed their vintage home in Pacific Palisades for $2,995,000! Paisley has had a long and successful career as a country singer and songwriter, and his wife Kimberly is most recognizable from her roles as the daughter in “Father of the Bride,” and her co-starring stint in the TV series “According to Jim.”
Now, after a short hiatus, Kimberly is reigniting her acting career in the hit TV show, “Nashville,” which films in — you guessed it — Nashville, TN. Since Brad’s music career is centered in Music City, it’s no shock that the duo is selling their West Coast abode (which, at 3,394 square feet, the young family of four is likely to outgrow soon anyway).
The Paisley’s California home is a beautifully restored vintage property, centrally located near Palisades Village schools, shops, and bluffs. It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a spacious two-story living room with fireplace, beamed ceilings, and stained glass windows. A large gourmet kitchen with breakfast area leads to a formal dining room. The master bedroom suite includes a separate tub and shower, a fireplace, and an outdoor deck with ocean views. There’s also a lovely backyard with a grassy area, trellis, citrus trees, and a detached garage with bonus room.
The famous couple also owns a home in the upscale town of Franklin, Tennessee. Property records show that they paid $1,350,000 on October 25, 2004, for their family’s honky-tonk home.

Her Madgesty is selling her castle in Beverly Hills! Madonna, the Queen of Pop, has officially and publicly listed her Beverly Hills estate for $22.5 million, as first reported by The Real Estalker. This posh pad had long been rumored to be a “pocket listing”–not officially on the MLS, but still for sale–for $28 million, but since the price wasn’t in ‘Vogue’ with buyers, Madonna was forced to try the public market at a lower price.
While we only have a single image to gawk at so far–this one showing the home’s ‘Borderline’–we do know Madonna’s property starts with a 500-foot, gated, tree-lined drive that leads to an acre and a quarter of lushly landscaped grounds, offering total privacy for residents to express themselves. The recently remodeled house has all the finest details and amenities: nine bedrooms, two living/reception rooms, a two-story dining room, junior dining room, large kitchen with breakfast room/den, and a full size screening room and theater. As if that weren’t enough space to ‘Cherish,’ the property also has two offices, assistants offices, a gym, staff rooms, two guest houses, a north/south tennis court, and a resort-size pool. No detail was overlooked and no expense spared in maintaining the house meticulously. It’s clear, by taking one look at her home, that Madonna is a ‘Material Girl.’
According to property records, Madge bought the house in June 2003 from actress Sela Ward for $12,000,000.
Madonna is no property ‘Virgin,’ as she also has her longtime New York City property on the market for $23 million.

6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 11,000 square feet, infinity pool overlooking the historic Riviera Country Club
The famed La Mesa Estate, also known as “The House of Rock,” is now for sale for $22 Million! Originally the longtime home of the legendary Katheryn Grayson, it was purchased by top designer Elaine Culotti and converted into a one-of-a-kind musical masterpiece. With the help of top designers such as Ralph Pucci, David Bromstad, Susan Cohen, Sami Hayek, and Kyle Schuneman, Culotti restored many of the home’s original Old-World hallmarks and infused musical and state-of-the-art elements that make this home perfect for today’s cosmopolitan lifestyle.
Incredible home amenities include a spacious entertaining kitchen; his-and-hers master closets and baths; rooms bathed in natural light; forward-thinking home automation and audiovisual; a huge grassy yard with extraordinary flush-edge infinity pool overlooking the historic Riviera Country Club; a detached 2-bedroom guesthouse; and a soon-to-be-completed home theater.
According to the listing agent, Susan Pekich of The Agency, three words to describe the estate are “innovative, inspiring, and iconic.” Take one peek at the images, or step inside this estate, and you’ll know just what she’s talking about. While the home is incredible, the neighborhood makes the $22-million-dollar price tag worth it. The “House of Rock” is on one of the best streets in Santa Monica and overlooks the 13th green of the Riviera Country Club. There aren’t many estates in the beachside community of Santa Monica, so the House of Rock’s size and stature sure stands out in the area. And adding a nice counterpoint to the Californian home are the trees lining La Mesa Drive, which lend a very “East-Coast-neighborhood vibe.”
When Pekich was asked what makes “
The House of Rock” different from other homes in the same price category, she said, “The most significant thing about the home is that it has a soul to it. It was designed with a lot of passion and a lot of thought. It was created by a collection of artists. It has great energy. It truly showcases what can be done by blending the old and the new. It has a history, and that is what makes it ‘alive.’ Anything that you sell needs to have story, and this home has the best story and the best melding of creative minds behind it.”You can see celebrity realtor Mauricio Umansky giving a video tour of The House of Rock

Tri-level, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath with recording studio and views of Hollywood sign
One of the very talented and well-known American Idol success stories, David Cook, has officially packed up his guitar and platinum albums and walked away from his short-lived Hollywood Beachwood Canyon home. The tri-level, three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath sold yesterday for $1,365,000 – a sum almost identical to his March 2010 purchase price of $1,318,000.
The Season 7 winner has slowly worked his way through Hollywood‘s music scene, yet has made steadfast moves through it’s real estate game. After a brief two-year stint in the Hollywood nest, Cook put the property up for sale in March of this year and was able to sell just seven months later at almost the exact purchase price.
Despite such a speedy selling process, if you take a tour of the property, it practically sells itself. Offering stunning, close-up views of the world-famous Hollywood sign, a home in this price range with these features stands out significantly among competing Los Angeles listings.
The home features an open layout, gorgeous hardwood flooring and a custom remodeled interior. Various windows, skylights and two-level exterior decks offer plenty of natural light throughout with stunning views of the Hollywood hills and world-famous Hollywood sign. A selling point for any Hollywood recording artists, the home features a professionally designed recording studio, which also has potential to be converted to a home theater.
Street level features include a cozy living room, a dining area, master suite with fireplace and large kitchen with Center Island, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The lower level includes two extra bedrooms, full bath, studio, and custom laundry area.
