Jennifer Love Hewitt is looking to spend her summer partying in her modern new abode in Pacific Palisades. First revealed by the incomparable Real Estalker and property records show that Miss Hewitt paid $3,250,000 on April 25, 2013. Prior to buying this stunning architectural gem in April, J Love sold a home in Toluca Lake that was the primary residence of her recently deceased mother. Jennifer lived just down the street and likely needed a change of scenery after her mom passed away.
She’s finding it in her hip and sexy retreat in Pacific Palisades, which was redone in 2007 and designed by well-regarded architect Melinda Gray.
Outside, the home has a private, sparkling spa-style pool surrounded by bamboo, as well as a fire pit, fireplace, flat screen, lounging area and more.
Inside, Hewitt’s new home has hardwood floors and an open floor plan that gives it that soothing organic and urban feel. The house has 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms spread out over 2,872 square feet.

Country star Brad Paisley and his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, have just listed their vintage home in Pacific Palisades for $2,995,000! Paisley has had a long and successful career as a country singer and songwriter, and his wife Kimberly is most recognizable from her roles as the daughter in “Father of the Bride,” and her co-starring stint in the TV series “According to Jim.”
Now, after a short hiatus, Kimberly is reigniting her acting career in the hit TV show, “Nashville,” which films in — you guessed it — Nashville, TN. Since Brad’s music career is centered in Music City, it’s no shock that the duo is selling their West Coast abode (which, at 3,394 square feet, the young family of four is likely to outgrow soon anyway).
The Paisley’s California home is a beautifully restored vintage property, centrally located near Palisades Village schools, shops, and bluffs. It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a spacious two-story living room with fireplace, beamed ceilings, and stained glass windows. A large gourmet kitchen with breakfast area leads to a formal dining room. The master bedroom suite includes a separate tub and shower, a fireplace, and an outdoor deck with ocean views. There’s also a lovely backyard with a grassy area, trellis, citrus trees, and a detached garage with bonus room.
The famous couple also owns a home in the upscale town of Franklin, Tennessee. Property records show that they paid $1,350,000 on October 25, 2004, for their family’s honky-tonk home.

Since their heyday as Hollywood’s ‘it’ couple following the ’80s hit movie, “Crocodile Dundee,” Paul Hogan and his longtime wife and former co-star, Linda Kozlowski, have been busy climbing the property ladder. Last July, we reported that the real estate power couple bought a five-bedroom, six-bath pad for $3,800,000, after listing another palatial Malibu home in February 2012 for $6,475,000.
After only six months, the Hogans are ready to sell their most recent purchase — the 6,382 square foot estate nestled in a prime location in Malibu — which was impeccably revamped in 2012, blending modern European sensibility with the home’s existing Victorian elegance. Featuring spectacular ocean views, the property is designed to let in plenty of natural light. The gourmet chef’s kitchen boasts top-of-the-line appliances, while the master suite includes a sitting area, two large walk-in closets, and a private lanai. A library, office spaces, three additional en-suite bedrooms, plus a bonus bedroom round out the rest of the main home. A short walk outside leads you to the one-bedroom guest house and the additional three-car garage.

NBA Baller Chris Bosh is showing us the literal meaning of the term now that his Pacific Palisades home has hit the rental market for $45,000 a month, according to The Real Estalker. The NBA star who currently dribbles for the Miami Heat is away from this home so frequently that it’s time to temporarily give it up to some well-heeled renters for a while. But don’t cry for Chris, he has an incredible Miami mansion that he and his wife bought in September 2010 for $12,333,000. That home is a gated and glassy 12,368 square foot modern mansion on the water.
Chris’ for-lease place is a real palace in the Palisades. For a mere $45,000 a month, you’ll get a wonderful ocean-view gated estate on approximately an acre-and-a-half. Secluded at the top of a knoll, the home has spectacular unobstructed views of the gorgeous Pacific Ocean and mountains. The outdoor area is punctuated with a resort-style infinity pool with swim up bar and lounge areas. A huge outdoor eating area features a full outdoor kitchen with pizza oven. There’s even an outdoor shower and large flat grassy area, perfect for extravagant entertaining. Inside, you’ll find a movie theatre, bar area with billiards, basically a total sports bar within the house.
The home is perfect for the CEO-type, with it’s ultra-luxurious office/library. Last but not least, the home has a huge master suite with dual master baths with huge walk-in closets and large ocean view balcony with spa off the master.
For those who need a little extra help around the (giant) house, this lease comes with fully-equipped staff quarters.

After putting in such hard work releasing a new album, Rihanna can now relax poolside at her new resort-inspired home.
Built in 2010, the freshly constructed estate is nestled in the Los Angeles hills and features a neutral-to-warm color scheme throughout, with sandy walls and dark wood and tile flooring from head to toe. One of Facebook's first 20 employees, now a co-founder at GoodRx.
Scott Marlette, one of Facebook’s first employees, is investing his tech riches into an offline asset – a rare, brand new home in Pacific Palisades, CA. Marlette began his career at Facebook in the company’s early days, first as an engineer and later as a product manager. He developed Facebook Photos and oversaw development for other key site features like tagging, groups and more. Facebook just announced its billionth user worldwide, and that kind of online success translates into some major dollars for the company and for early employees who received a substantial piece of equity in the company in exchange for taking a chance and betting their careers on Mark Zuckerberg’s idea. Despite Facebook’s rocky IPO earlier this year, there is no doubt that the company has figured out how to make a pretty penny – and many of the early employees have also shared in that monetary success.
Scott Marlette’s new venture, GoodRx, is headquartered in Santa Monica, CA, which explains why his pricey Pacific Palisades purchase is hundreds of miles from the tech epicenter of Silicon Valley.
So what does tech gold translate to when it comes to real estate? Marlette paid $5.4M for a home in highly-sought-after Rustic Canyon. The home was a complete remodel of an existing property that hadn’t been on the market in more than 50 years. The home was designed and built by Core Development Group. Marlette’s new home is a fresh and modern interpretation of a New England farmhouse, complete with sun-filled open spaces, wide plank oak floors, 11-foot-high ceilings and tree top views everywhere you look.
Sleek lines blend seamlessly with a perfect floor plan. A state-of-the-art kitchen features a wolf range and side-by-side Sub Zero fridges. The family room flows effortlessly into a private grassy backyard. The home’s master suite comes complete with a stunning bath and his & her closets. A separate 5th bedroom upstairs has its own entrance. The listing says it’s “perfect for a writer,” but it’s also a great space for a hacker or coder as well!

We all know relationships can be a roller coaster ride, especially in Hollywood, and when relationships or marriages come to a screeching halt, sadly we very often see the couple letting go of a huge asset – their home. Unfortunately that is the case with two-time Oscar-winning actress Hillary Swank. Let’s jump into the ring and take a look back at the Million Dollar Baby star’s recent love affair with John Campisi and her Pacific Palisades estate.
According to property records, Swank purchased the ocean-view Pacific Palisades property for $5.8 million in March 2007, around the same time she began dating her then agent, John Campisi. Five long years of business, pleasure and Hollywood bliss passed until news of a recent split hit newsstands in May of this year. After a few months of silence it looks like it’s time to start letting go.
Fast forwarding to present day, Swank is looking to unload her semi-swanky pad for more than just a million dollars, baby. Try a $9,495,000 price tag.
Built in 1928 and designed by Mark Zeff, the gated six-bedroom, six and a half bath estate sits in a coveted Los Angeles neighborhood known for housing noted celebs on every other block. Hardwood and Mosaic tile flooring line the 6,722 square-foot property, pairing well with Mediterranean-style arched French doors and walls. Glass walls allow plenty of natural sunlight to shine through the open space and warm Spanish-style textures and colors add to the European charm. According to the listing, the gourmet kitchen features a center island, state-of-the-art appliances, dining area seating 16-20 guests with adjacent family room. The downstairs patio and master suite balcony offer stunning ocean views. The lower level features a lounge with wet bar, state of the art surround sound theater with custom seating for 17 guests and private cigar room and wine cellar.
Additionally the property features a guest bedroom, gym, powder room and wonderful outdoor entertaining area with fire pit, swimming pool, spa.

8 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, 13,585 square feet
The new owners of Pia Zadora’s longtime estate have placed the palatial Pacific Palisades home on the market for a whopping $26,000,000. According to public records, Zadora quietly sold the home to ABR Capital LLC in 2011 for slightly less than $5,000,000. Zadora was originally asking for $10,000,000 when she last put the home on the market in 2010.
It’s a massive price increase that we felt was worth some investigating. Photos of the property in 2010, indicate a large home dominated by custom wood finish and a large outdoor area, that seems relatively uninspired.
The new owners must be aiming for a super high-end ‘flip,’ as the home is now completely revamped. Today, interested buyers are greeted with a stunning, 13,585 square foot modern-looking home, ideally located with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. Featuring 8 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, this home is built for comfort and for entertaining, and also features two guest houses.
The new owners and their guests will seldom have to leave this exclusive estate due to a variety of features on the property, including a grand living room, a formal dining room with room for 20, 2 offices, playroom, game room, wine tasting room, sports court and gym.
But the excitement isn’t all indoors. Glass walls disappear to seamlessly connect comfortable outdoor living and dining areas with the interior of the house. Throw in the salt water infinity pool and you start to get a sense of the considerable effort that was put into renovating the home.
Ginger Glass of Coldwell Banker holds the listing.
Update: We previously reported that Pia Zadora was the current seller of this home. After taking a closer look at property records, we discovered that she quietly sold this home in 2011 for just under $5 million. The new owners are the ones looking to mint some serious cash on this high-end ‘flip.’ We regret the error.
