Tennis ace Serena Williams is serving up her luxurious LA condo to a new buyer. According to property records and The Real Estalker, Williams’ Wilshire Boulevard home is in escrow for $1,850,000. By the looks of the listing photos, Williams used the condo as a West Coast pied-à-terre for a couple years when she spent time in the City of Angels. She purchased the soon-to-be-sold condo in September 2002 for $1,275,000. Four years later — after more success and lucrative endorsement deals — she spent $6,612,000 on massive, seven-bedroom mansion in Bel Air. She and sister Venus also share a champion-worthy Florida mansion.
Whomever is plunking down the dough to take Serena’s small-ish condo off her hands is buying into the luxury Los Angeles building, The Remington. The 15th floor condo is spacious, with two bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, and a den/office that comes complete with the most amazing city views. Light and bright, the condo has an open floorplan and a direct access elevator. The gourmet kitchen features high-end appliances. And throughout, you’ll find hardwood floors, balconies, walls of windows. The master suite comes with dual marble baths, limestone floors, and walk-in closets, while The Remington — a full-service building — offers a concierge, valet, pool/spa, gym, rec room, wine storage, and additional storage rooms.

20 acres, 16,000 square feet of living space, including 13,000 square feet in the main house, plus a 1,200 square foot guest house and a 2,000-square foot gym.
Former tennis great Pete Sampras has put down his professional racket, but he’s still in the real estate game. He and his actress wife Bridgette Wilson-Sampras are selling their newly-built, custom estate in the guard gated community in Lake Sherwood, a sub-division of Thousand Oaks, California. The home was placed on the market in March of 2010, and has yet to find a buyer. Now, the price has come down to $19,950,000 in hopes that someone will take the massive property off their hands. In the meantime, property records show that the 14-time Grand Slam-winning tennis ace and the former Miss Teen USA are shacking up with their two kids in a $5.6 million pad at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the star-studded Brentwood area of Los Angeles.
While they enjoy their new digs, their former home sits atop a hill, waiting for a buyer. The new contemporary home is on a 20 acre lot, boasting unobstructed 360 degree views with complete privacy. The main house spans approximately 13,000 square feet. There is also a separate 2000 square foot gym, and a 1200 square foot, fully-contained guest house.
The home features include a blend of teak, white oak and Anigre woods. There are imported stones and the highest quality finishes throughout. Clean lines, sleek decor and simplicity make this a world class architectural estate. Interior features include a massive theater/game room combo with separate poker room, master with “his” and “hers” separate bathrooms and more. The grounds are second to none and include a North/South tennis court with lights (naturally), massive manicured lawns, an infinity pool, covered verandas and more.
